Mad Farmer is a collaboration between Hey Girl Productions (Jane Zelikova, See Why Projects (Catherine Yrisarri), Michelle Lotke, and production + technical assistance from Phil Taylor of Mad Agriculture.

Jane Zelikova is the founder of Hey Girl Productions, whose mission is to bring a scientific eye to creative projects and to tell stories that share knowledge and inspire action. She is a scientist, producer, biker, skier, chaser of frisbees, climber of rocks, budding filmmaker, avid reader, bad surfer, and obsessive consumer of gummy bears.

Phil Taylor co-founded Mad Agriculture with his wife, Nicole Brinks and their goal is to create a culture that loves and restores our relationship with the land, sea and one another. Phil grew up on farmland in rural Maryland, learning stewardship and his place in the world from an early age He is a scientist, farmer, poet, and all around radical.

Catherine Yrisarri is the founder of See Why Projects, translating big ideas into thoughtful narratives. Catherine has spent a decade of work developing series around the world for clients like National Geographic, Oprah, and the New York Times. She is a wild lover of the world, stalker of scientists, and snuggler of puppies.

Michelle Lotker is an independent visual storyteller with a passion for listening to people's stories, learning new things and discovering the unexpected. With a background in environmental science and Masters degree in journalism, her work creates more connection and empathy in the world and inspires change.
